Sheehan Brothers Vending, a third-generation, family-owned vending and unattended retail operator based in Springfield, Ohio, is celebrating 70 years in business, according to a Springfield News-Sun report. Founded in 1956 with a small gumball vending route, the company has expanded into a regional provider serving workplaces across Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. Its services include traditional vending, micro markets, fresh food, office coffee, pantry services, water systems and retail catering.

The company continues to invest in technology, facilities and expanded workplace refreshment services. President Patrick Sheehan credited employees, customers and community relationships for the company's longevity. Vice President Michael Sheehan emphasized the importance of combining technological improvements with dependable customer service. The company also reported donating more than 251,463 meals to Second Harvest Food Bank in 2025.

Sheehan Brothers will mark the anniversary with a free public open house Thursday, Nov. 5, from 2 to 4 p.m. at its headquarters, 1740 Commerce Road in Springfield. The event will highlight the company's history, repair facility and continued growth.
