Five Star Breaktime Solutions has acquired West Chester Vending, according to a press release, expanding its vending machine operations in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky markets.

West Chester Vending, based in Fairfield, Ohio, was built over more than a decade by owner Richard Walter, who brought nearly 35 years of industry experience to the business and focused on traditional workplace vending services.

Five Star said it will integrate West Chester Vending's service locations into its existing Cincinnati-area operations to ensure a smooth transition for customers. The acquisition adds vending routes and expands the company's regional customer base, strengthening its presence in the local breakroom and convenience-services market.

Since the beginning of 2026, Five Star has acquired Tennessee-based Jordan Distributing, Indiana-based Krodel Vending and Louisiana-based AM Coffee LLC.

Headquartered in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Five Star Breaktime Solutions provides vending, micro market, coffee, pantry and dining services across 11 states in the Southeast and Ohio Valley. Founded in 1993, the company has grown into one of the largest privately held convenience-services operators in the United States and is the largest franchise operator of Canteen, a division of Compass Group.
