Aramark has been named a Top Scorer on the 2026 Disability Index, according to a press release, marking the 10th time the hospitality and services company has received the recognition. Global nonprofit Disability:IN administers the annual benchmark, which evaluates employers' policies, programs and practices supporting disability inclusion throughout the employee experience.

Aramark Vice President of Global Inclusion Fenimore Fisher said the recognition reflects companywide efforts to help employees with disabilities feel supported and able to succeed. Aramark works with Disability:IN to access research, training, professional development, benchmarking and a network of certified disability-owned business enterprises.

The company's Thrive employee resource group also expanded its inclusion work during the past year. The group offered disability etiquette training, participated in a post-traumatic stress disorder awareness program with other employee groups and helped develop Aramark's first learning module focused on discussing disabilities in the workplace.

Aramark and Thrive representatives attended the Disability:IN Global Conference & Expo in Dallas held July 27-30. Mercedes Rodriguez, Aramark's director of inclusive sourcing, said the partnership supports efforts to remove workplace barriers and expand opportunities for disability-owned businesses.
