Aramark has been named to Fortune's 2026 AIQ 75 list, which recognizes Fortune 500 companies using artificial intelligence to produce measurable business results, according to a press release.

The recognition highlights Aramark's efforts to incorporate AI into foodservice operations, workforce management and supply chain decisions. The ranking evaluates companies based on factors including their assessments of AI performance, evaluations by technology industry leaders and the maturity of their AI deployments.

Aramark's AI initiatives are part of its Hospitality IQ strategy, which emphasizes using technology to support employees and improve customer experiences. Its Culinary Co-Pilot tool helps chefs develop menus based on local preferences, nutritional requirements and dietary restrictions, with operators reporting improvements of up to 30% in menu-planning time. The company's Labor Insights platform uses AI to assist managers with staffing decisions, while its Mosaic supply chain system analyzes purchasing information to identify savings and improve procurement. Aramark said Mosaic supports decisions involving more than $20 billion in annual purchases.

Aramark Chief Information Officer Baker Smith said in the release that the company's approach focuses on helping employees work more effectively rather than replacing personal service with technology. The company also highlighted its AI Risk Governance Committee, established in 2023 to oversee responsible AI adoption through policies, employee training and internal reviews. Chief Compliance Officer Tamsin Fast said in the release the framework is intended to maintain accountability and customer trust as Aramark expands its use of AI across its operations.
