Aramark Collegiate Hospitality has entered a long-term partnership with the University of Colorado Colorado Springs to manage campus dining, retail food service, catering and hospitality programs, according to a press release. The agreement marks Aramark's first partnership within the University of Colorado System and expands the company's presence in the state.
The dining program will add retail options, broaden food and beverage selections and incorporate national brands, local restaurants and regional suppliers. UCCS and Aramark also plan to support student-created concepts and entrepreneurial projects while offering dining experiences reflecting the university and the Colorado Springs community.
Aramark said menus will emphasize quality, convenience, variety, wellness and sustainability. Digital tools and other technology will be used to improve ordering, service delivery, operational efficiency and the overall dining experience.
The partnership will also introduce themed events, cultural celebrations and social dining programs intended to strengthen campus connections. Aramark will oversee catering and event hospitality throughout UCCS, including services at the Ent Center for the Performing Arts. The public research university enrolls more than 11,300 students and offers more than 140 degree programs.
