Smoodi partners with iSqueeze on UK expansion

Automated smoothie machine provider Smoodi has selected iSqueeze as its official partner for expansion into the U.K., according to a post on the iSqueeze blog.

Smoodi's self-service machines prepare smoothies from sealed, prefilled cups by adding cold water and blending the ingredients. The menu includes six varieties: Strawberry and banana, tropical, green matcha, mango lassi, very berry and choco boost.

Under the partnership, iSqueeze will support businesses with contracts, installation, maintenance and aftercare while supplying cups and straws. The arrangement combines Smoodi's automated smoothie technology with iSqueeze's experience providing beverage equipment to U.K. cafes, gyms, convenience stores and other locations. The companies are positioning the machines as a way for retailers to add made-to-order smoothies without the equipment, preparation time and cleaning associated with traditional smoothie service.
