New York-based Smart Vend Group has introduced its "Smart Node Ecosystem Initiative," marking a shift from traditional vending operations to a globally connected, AI-powered retail infrastructure, according to a press release.
The company said the strategy focuses on delivering products and information based on timing and location, supported by a multi-layer technology architecture rather than standalone machines.
At the center of the platform is an AI-driven system that SVGAPP claims enables demand forecasting accuracy above 95% and dynamically adjusts inventory and pricing based on local consumer behavior. The company said this approach transforms vending terminals into adaptive "commercial nodes" capable of self-optimization.
SVGAPP also outlined a three-part revenue model combining automated retail sales, advertising delivered through on-screen placements, and monetization of consumer data insights. The initiative is supported by a "light-asset" operating structure that allows partners to manage inventory, maintenance and performance remotely through a mobile platform, alongside a tiered incentive system aimed at expanding participation and scaling deployment globally.
