Spanish vending company Eboca and Italian vending operator CDA, or Cattelan Distributori Automatici, have formed a partnership to exchange knowledge about the vending industry, according to a Radio Huesca report. The companies said the agreement is focused on mutual learning and does not have a commercial or financial objective.
Both companies operate machines dispensing coffee and other hot drinks, cold beverages, snacks and food.
The relationship began in July when CDA representatives visited Eboca's facilities in Huesca, Spain, to learn about its employees, corporate culture and approach to vending operations. Eboca representatives continued the exchange by visiting CDA in Italy on Sept. 2 and 3, when the partnership was formally established.
The vending companies will focus their cooperation on five areas: people, innovation, responsibility, regional connections and the future. Eboca and CDA plan to arrange additional visits, employee meetings and discussions about vending technology, sustainability and the challenges facing the industry while remaining independent companies.
