Arezzo, Italy-based Seco will showcase its smart vending technologies at the VendItalia 2026 trade show in Rimini, Italy, taking place May 6-8, according to a press release.
The company plans to present a working coffee vending machine powered by its SBC-SANTVEND-MX6 platform, integrated with Clea Vend and KarL4, to illustrate a full purchase cycle including contactless payments, real-time data capture and cloud-based analytics.
Seco develops and manufactures solutions for the digitalization of industrial products and processes.
The demonstrations will highlight Seco's Clea framework, which combines IoT and artificial intelligence to collect and analyze data from vending machines in real time. The system enables operators to monitor performance, track user behavior and optimize sales through an edge-to-cloud architecture. Company officials said the platform supports scalable deployment, remote management and improved operational efficiency across vending fleets.
Seco will also present integrated hardware and software solutions, including touchscreen interfaces, contactless payment systems and retrofit technologies designed to upgrade existing machines. A speaker session featuring Fausto Di Segni, head of IoT and AI, will address how artificial intelligence is reshaping vending operations and business models, underscoring the industry's shift toward connected, data-driven systems.
