A vending machine at Bashamichi Station in Yokohama, Japan, is selling a variety of Baumkuchen to passengers aboard the luxury cruise ship Asuka III.

Baumkuchen is a layered German cake. The machine is located outside the ticket gates on the Minatomirai Line, according to a SoraNews24 report.

The cakes are made by Cocotomo Farm using rice flour from Japan's Aichi prefecture. The company's brown rice-based hard baum is given as a welcome gift aboard the ship. Signage at the station said the cake is sold at a discount through the machine to help reduce food waste.

The machine sells frozen cakes and accepts cash and payment apps. Among the offerings are a package containing slices of hard and soft baum for 650 yen, or about $4.14, and a bag of hard baum edge pieces for 500 yen, or about $3.17.
