ATLAS Vending, the vending division of Etika Sdn Bhd, has launched ATLAS Nutri Aid, a smart vending machine initiative that provides free Goodday Charge milk to underprivileged primary school students in Malaysia, according to a press release. Introduced on World Milk Day in partnership with the Selangor State Education Department and Yayasan Raja Muda Selangor, the program uses automated vending machines to give eligible students reliable daily access to milk at participating schools. Following a successful pilot, the initiative will expand with the deployment of 10 vending machines.

Goodday Charge is a fortified chocolate milk beverage produced by Etika that contains protein, calcium and 10 vitamins and minerals designed to support children's growth and development.

The ATLAS Nutri Aid system combines proprietary smart vending technology with a tap-and-go card system that is synchronized with each school's calendar. The platform is designed to dispense one serving of milk per eligible student during school days while preventing misuse and enabling program administrators to monitor participation and inventory. Organizers said the automated approach delivers nutritional support in a consistent, dignified manner while improving operational transparency.

Etika said the initiative is intended to help address childhood malnutrition and stunting, which remain significant public health challenges in Malaysia, particularly among lower-income families.
