Workers at an Amazon warehouse in Maple Grove, Minnesota, have complained about a camera in a coffee machine operated by Canteen. The employees felt the camera intruded on their privacy, according to a Sahan Journal report.

A button on the machine's touchscreen under the heading "gallery" allowed the employees to see photos of the breakroom which they assumed were taken by the camera.

A tape has since been placed over the camera and Amazon is now waiting for a coffee machine without a camera or one with a disabled camera, according to a spokesperson.

The spokesperson said the camera allows people to buy coffee with a card and a malfunction caused the camera to take pictures.

Canteen had not responded to requests for comment at the time of this report to either the Sahan Journal or Vending Times.
