The Mississippi Children's Museum in Jackson has unveiled an Inchy's Bookwork Vending Machine through a partnership with Atmos Energy. The machine contains more than a dozen books, which accepts tokens to dispense the books, according to a report by WLBT.

By attending various literacy programs at the museum including ABC Come Play With Me, Rocky's Book Club and Read With Me, children can receive a sticker on their Book Club Card. Once the card is full, they earn a token to use at the machine.

"When we learned about the book vending machine, we felt like it dovetailed perfectly with all of our programs that are built towards third-grade students and reaching the third-grade reading gate," Emily Hoff, executive director of the museum, said in the report.

The museum designed a custom wrap for the machine and worked to provide books for different reading levels. Atmos will supply books for the vending machine.
