A kosher pizza vending machine has begun operating in Lakewood, New Jersey, offering customers an automated option for purchasing freshly prepared pizza, according to a YeahThatsKosher report.

The machine, branded Pizza Always, is located outside Quick Kosher 2 Go, a convenience store at an Exxon gas station.

The self-service unit features a large touchscreen that displays the status of each order as the pizza is prepared. Customers receive updates indicating when their pizza is cooking and when it is on its way. The automated system allows customers to order pizza without interacting with a traditional restaurant counter.

The machine is located at 1690 Madison Ave., along Route 9 near the intersection of Kennedy Boulevard and County Line Road. The installation adds a hot-food vending option to Lakewood's kosher dining market, illustrating how automated foodservice equipment is being used to serve specialized dietary markets.
