Fresh lei vending machines bring Hawaiian tradition to Oahu hotels

The company also operates a lei kiosk at the Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort. Products generally cost between $25 and $55, depending on the item and location.

The company said the machines are intended to make it easier for residents and visitors who cannot reach a traditional flower shop to purchase leis. Some purchases also include randomly placed $100 gift cards redeemable at local restaurants, adding an incentive to support other Hawaii businesses. The machines join other unconventional automated retail offerings in Waikiki, including a 24-hour pizza machine.
