  • NCR Voyix and the National Association of Convenience Stores have integrated the TruAge digital age-verification system into NCR Voyix point-of-sale technology. The system checks physical and digital driver's licenses to confirm purchasing eligibility for age-restricted products. Existing RPOS customers can use an integration developed by Cullinan Group, while the company's newer convenience and fuel retail platform includes native support. NACS said the integration makes TruAge accessible through existing POS technology to approximately 75% of the convenience retail market.
  • Interactive technology company Mynd.ai has named Bin Shen CEO and interim chief financial officer, effective Oct. 12. He succeeds Arthur Giterman, who stepped down from both executive positions and the company's board. Shen previously served as senior vice president of mergers and acquisitions at EchoStar, with experience in artificial intelligence, cloud computing and technology investments. Mynd.ai said it intends to appoint a permanent CFO following a search.
  • Payments and customer relationship management provider Deposyt has announced a partnership with Square to offer the company's payment technology through Deposyt's nationwide network of local agents. The arrangement combines Square's transaction processing platform with Deposyt's merchant support and business growth services. The companies said the partnership is designed to help small businesses adopt payment technology while retaining access to local assistance.
  • Canopée Tech has appointed Philip Mineer director of digital assets and content manager, supporting one of the company's enterprise customers, according to a post on the company's LinkedIn page. Mineer brings extensive industry experience in content management and digital asset systems. In his new role, he will focus on improving the efficiency and value of digital content operations.
  • GSTV, a digital advertising network operating at fuel stations and convenience retail locations, has appointed Eric Kozik CEO after he served as interim chief executive beginning in April. The company also named Tiffany Southwell as senior vice president of measurement, customer experience and product; Jeremy Tauber as SVP of client partnerships for the East; and Alyssa Chen joins as VP of human resources. The leadership changes are intended to strengthen GSTV's advertising technology capabilities and relationships with retail partners as the company expands its retail media business.
  • The National Association of Convenience Stores has named Lonnie McQuirter, director of operations at Minneapolis-based 36 Lyn Refuel Station, chairman for 2026-27. McQuirter began his term Oct. 6 during the NACS Show in Las Vegas. He will lead the association's executive committee, which oversees strategic direction and financial matters. NACS also appointed Kevin LeMoyne, senior vice president of customer leadership at Coca-Cola, chairman of its supplier board.
