Automated food vending has arrived at the Minneapolis–St. Paul International Airport, according to a Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal report, allowing travelers in Terminal 1 to purchase White Castle sliders and Wow Bao menu items from self-service vending machines.

The units are operated by Evolvending and are part of the airport's small-business concession program, expanding grab-and-go dining options for passengers.

Other Evolvending airport deployments include those at Charleston International and the Southwest Florida International Airport.

The deployment reflects the continued growth of branded automated food retail at U.S. airports, as restaurant chains increasingly use vending technology to extend their reach beyond traditional storefronts. Evolvending plans to add more machines at MSP, signaling further expansion of the concept.
