The Delaware Lottery has completed the rollout of self-service sports betting kiosks at all 89 Sports Lottery retail locations and the state's three casinos, according to a Delaware Live report, giving bettors access to a wider range of wagering options without assistance from store employees.

Developed in partnership with Scientific Games, with betting odds supplied by Caesars Sportsbook, the kiosks support traditional wagers as well as player proposition bets, same-game parlays, live in-game betting, multisport parlays and customizable point spreads.

Lottery officials said the kiosks are designed to speed transactions, reduce employee workloads and provide customers with greater flexibility. A new "Bet Ahead" feature allows bettors to build wagers online before visiting a retailer, where they can enter a six-digit code at a kiosk to complete and print their ticket. The machines also include QR codes that let players check results and view additional information about their wagers.

Installation of the kiosks was completed by late June without disrupting existing lottery operations. Although the expansion offers greater convenience and additional betting options, it also places sports wagering in more neighborhood retail locations, increasing the importance of enforcing age restrictions and promoting responsible gambling. Delaware's retail sports betting system continues to require customers to visit an authorized location to place and pay for wagers, distinguishing it from fully mobile sports betting platforms.

The Delaware Lottery, which began operations in 1975, said the self-service rollout represents another step in modernizing the state's retail wagering network. Lottery proceeds have contributed approximately $6 billion to Delaware's General Fund, supporting a variety of government programs and services.
