Dubai-based Travel Retail Sales & Services, working with fragrance brand Armaf and Abu Dhabi Airports, has introduced what the companies describe as the first Armaf-branded intelligent fragrance kiosk in travel retail, according to a DFNI report. The self-service Club de Nuit Smart Perfume Kiosk has been installed at Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi and allows travelers to browse and purchase from a selection of 12 fragrances, including products from Armaf's Club de Nuit line, in less than a minute.

Developed by UAE-based retail technology firm UMMI, the kiosk functions as both a fragrance dispenser and a connected retail platform. It also provides real-time data on purchasing behavior, inventory levels and product demand, giving operators insights to refine merchandising and product assortments.

TRSS CEO Adrian Bradshaw said the launch reflects the company's commitment to innovative retail concepts that enhance the passenger experience and strengthen partnerships within the airport ecosystem. Armaf said the kiosk creates a more accessible and technology-driven way for travelers to discover its fragrances. TRSS and Armaf plan to monitor sales, conversion rates, passenger engagement and operational performance as they evaluate expanding the concept to other travel retail locations.
