SANTA MONICA, CA-- U-Vend Inc. is changing its corporate name to BoxScore Brands Inc. The company has also applied for a new stock trading symbol to reflect the name change.
U-Vend Inc., headquartered in Santa Monica, CA, operates Mini Melts-branded vending machines in southern California and Las Vegas in big box retailers, shopping malls and entertainment centers. The company has said it has a licensing agreement with Major League Baseball to sell baseball-themed ice cream products through its vending machines, and at convenience and retail stores in the U.S.
U-Vend chief executive David Graber said its focus on developing branded frozen novelties in cooperation with the professional sports industry has led to a new marketing platform better represented by the BoxScore Brands name.
U-Vend recently signed a manufacturing agreement with The Ice Cream Exchange for its sports-themed novelties.
