Zazzz Marijuana Vending Machine Making Washington State Debut

SEATTLE -- American Green said it's planning to roll out its ID-verifying marijuana vending machine inside Seattle Caregivers medical dispensary in Seattle on Feb. 3.

The Tempe, AZ-based company's first-generation Zazzz pot machines have gone live in Colorado locations over the past year. They dispense edible products infused with THC, the main psychoactive ingredient of the Cannabis plant.

Zazzz will reportedly be the first marijuana vending machine in Washington and will be stocked by Seattle Caregivers with a wide range of medicinal and recreational marijuana flowers, edibles and merchandise. The temperature-controlled machine is equipped with an ID scanner to verify a user's identity, age and additional data before dispensing selected items.
