BLOOMINGDALE, IL -- Yousuf Quraishi recently celebrated his 40-year anniversary as a field technician for Canteen, a division of Compass Group (Charlotte, NC). He joined the nation's largest vending provider at its Bloomingdale, IL, location in October 1979, where he has remained ever since.
"I feel that every day of work is a new challenge and new opportunity to learn," he said. "I am very proud to be a part of this organization and has been able to adapt to the numerous changes seen in the vending industry throughout the years."
The Canteen veteran said those changes include the shift from mechanical cam switches to electronic PC boards and loose ground coffee to bean-to-cup grinders.
