Young farmer expands dairy farm, launches dairy vending machine

Edward Berry, a young farmer at Rectory Farm in Thornton-in-Craven, U.K., has launched a vending venture with his partner, Charlotte Wood, according to a report from The Northern Farmer.

They've installed a vending machine on the farm that dispenses fresh milk and milkshakes, allowing customers to buy directly from the farm. The vending machine also provides Wood with the opportunity to work from the farm.

He has also grown the dairy herd and implemented new milking technology with the support of his family and friends. The farm's cows enjoy a free-grazing lifestyle and produce milk that is primarily sold to Lancashire Farm Dairies.
