Yeti-themed game headed for arcades

Gaming machine makers Reflex Gaming and 4theplayer.com have partnered to launch the online game, 9k Yeti, into the land-based gaming sector, according to a press release.

The game transports players to a height of 9,000 meters up Mount Everest to uncover the secrets of the mythical yeti while enjoying the Himalayan scenery.

During free spins, any losing spin where both Wild and Yeti symbols have landed will trigger the "Snow Storm" feature. In addition, landing three or more scatter symbols retriggers the feature, increasing the chances of winning.

"We wanted to release 9k Yeti in time for the peak Christmas season," Mat Ingram, CPO of Reflex Gaming, said in the press release.
