XMAI Vending has expanded its U.S. portfolio with five AI vision vending models designed for locations ranging from small spaces to high-traffic sites, according to a press release. The lineup includes the XMAI Core, Pro, Max, Ultra and Ultra Max, with machine selection based on available space, customer volume, product variety and restocking needs.
Customers authorize a payment method, open the machine, remove products and close the door. Computer vision identifies the selected items and completes the transaction. Unlike conventional coil-based vending machines, the open-shelf units can accommodate a broader mix of packaged drinks, snacks, fresh foods, baked goods and other compatible products.
XMAI said it tested the machines and recognition technology across different packages, shelf arrangements, product assortments and operating conditions. Depending on the equipment and software package, operators can remotely monitor sales, inventory, temperature, payments, machine status and alerts. XMAI is operated in the United States by NexMart Smart Inc., which provides delivery and support through its Los Angeles operations.
