World Giving Machines expand internationally

The World Giving Machines, vending machines sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints allowing people to make holiday donations to non-profits by purchasing items, have expanded to 14 additional sites in the U.S. and eight internationally, the Church reported on its website.

The machines offer groceries, fresh water, child vaccines, beds, hygiene kits, farming equipment, medical care, job training, educational supplies, beehives and livestock as charitable donations.

Nearly 125 local and global nonprofits are joining the church in caring for and serving millions of people in need.
