World bowling cup postponed to October 2021

August 19, 2020

World Bowling, the international governing body for tenpin, ninepin and Para Bowling, and QubicaAMF Worldwide (QubicaAMF), the largest bowling products company in the world, have postponed the QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup from March 2021 to October 2021 in Kuwait as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, according to a press release.

World Bowling has established an Event Portfolio Working Group charged with looking for new dates to reschedule events once the pandemic subsides.

The inaugural Para Bowling World Cup will also be postponed and is planned to take place in Kuwait in May 2021 to avoid the congestion of the events being rescheduled in the latter part of the year.

Final dates for both events will be provided at a future time.
