WMF GmbH, a Groupe SEB company, has introduced its 1500 F bean-to-cup coffee machine that uses freshly ground beans and allows guests to receive their coffee after just seven seconds, according to a press release.
The customer uses a timer to adjust the amount of coffee required to suit their needs. The re-infusion always starts automatically when the previously set minimum amount of the 4-liter storage container runs out.
If the machine is equipped with two bean containers (1,100 grams and 700 grams), a separate fresh brew can be selected directly into the cup using the second type of beans. An additional hot water output up to 30 liters per hour rounds off the range of functions of the fully automatic machine.
Once the coffee grinder has finished grinding, the portioned coffee grounds fall into the brewing chamber. During the brewing process, precisely tempered water flows over a distributor sieve onto the ground material, whereby an even extraction takes place. Finally, the machine directs the freshly brewed coffee into the storage container or directly into the cup.
An integrated and individually adjustable timer controls the cycles in which all coffee-carrying parts of the machine should be cleaned. State-of-the-art components guarantee the independent feeding, dosing and monitoring of the cleaning granules.
The machine also offers a 10-inch color touch display and dry grounds disposal via the internal grounds box or optionally through the counter into a larger collecting container.
