WMF 1500 S+ gains 2-milk solution, expanding plant-based coffee options

WMF Professional Coffee Machines has launched its 2-Milk Solution for the WMF 1500 S+ specialty coffee machine, according to a press release. The development aims to allow businesses with medium coffee demand, such as smaller cafés and bakeries, to offer a wider variety of coffee beverages made with plant-based milks like oat, soy and almond.

The WMF 1500 S+, with a recommended daily capacity of 180 cups, can now be equipped with the 2-Milk Solution, enabling the simultaneous use of traditional dairy and a plant-based alternative. The system is designed to cater to the growing consumer interest in vegan coffee options, particularly among Gen Z.

The company stated the combination empowers businesses to meet evolving preferences.

"With this combination, the WMF 1500 S+ and the 2-Milk Solution empower medium-sized coffee businesses to keep up with the rising demand for high-quality vegan options," WMF Professional Coffee Machines said in the release.

The WMF 1500 S+ features include the "Dynamic Milk" system for various hot and cold milk foam textures, three hoppers for different coffee beans or powders, and the WMF AutoClean system for automated cleaning of both coffee and milk systems.
