Winnebago County Public Health in Wisconsin is offering free cold-weather supplies through vending machines in Oshkosh and Neenah, according to a WBAY News report. The machines stock hats, gloves, socks, hand warmers and emergency blankets to help residents protect themselves from cold exposure.
Residents can call the confidential Public Health Vending Machine Hotline to receive a unique PIN. The code allows users to obtain up to three items at no charge.
Both machines are accessible around the clock. One is outside the county administrative building at 112 Otter Ave. in Oshkosh, and the other is at Winnebago County Human Services, 211 N. Commercial St. in Neenah.
