Wisconsin seeks to loosen vending machine sales and rental regulations

Wisconsin lawmakers are seeking to restrict the regulation of the sale and rental of soda water beverage and coin operated vending machines, according to the National Automatic Merchandising Association weekly legislative report.

Senate Bill 148 affects the sales and rentals from soda water beverage wholesalers to retail food establishments.

Existing law authorizes the department of agriculture, trade and consumer protection to prohibit methods of trade and competition that it considers unfair.
