Wisconsin county heath department launches health vending machine

A Wisconsin county public health organization has introduced a harm reduction vending machine containing Narcan and fentanyl test strips.

Racine County Public Health Division (RCPH) placed the machine in its office in Sturtevant, Wisconsin. The machine provides free Narcan and fentanyl test strips at no cost to those who use the machine, according to a Fox 6 news report.

The vending machine is located inside RCPH's office at 9531 Rayne Road in Sturtevant. Users can scan a QR code to access instructions for how to use Narcan and fentanyl test strips. According to the news report, the aim of the harm reduction vending machine is to increase access to these resources and reduce stigma.
