Whitehall man arrested for vending machine damage, theft

Eric Prosser, 33, of Whitehall, New York, has been arrested by the Washington County Sheriff's Office, according to a CBS 6 Albany report. He is charged with grand larceny and criminal mischief in the fourth degree.

According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, an investigation determined that Prosser allegedly damaged a vending machine at the Main Street Laundromat in the Village of Whitehall and stole more than $1,000 from it.

Prosser was arraigned in Central Arraignment and is currently being held pending future court appearances. The Washington County Sheriff's Investigation Unit and Road Patrol are handling the ongoing case.
