GLASGOW -- Scotland's intu Braehead shopping center and nearby entertainment complex Soar both think big when it comes to promotions.

As part of a springtime promotion, they created the Big Treat Gumball Machine. Participants are invited to step into the 16-ft.-high bulk vending machine partially filled with brightly colored balls. The goal is to find one of four orange balls to win a prize; prizes range from a free cup of coffee to a £50 and a wine hamper.

"We've decided to give everyone not just a big treat, but a huge treat," said Lydia Brown, an intu Braehead marketing official. "For the whole month of May we've got some fabulous activities, fun events and prizes for young and old. So, we're inviting everyone to visit us and when they do, they can be sure it will be a real treat."
