Webinar to offer guidance on controlling COVID-19 in food facilities

During a free webinar at 12:30 p.m. ET Friday, former FDA Chief Medical Officer David Acheson will update the food industry on ways to control the coronavirus in food facilities. Ben Miller, Ph.D., an epidemiologist and senior director of regulatory and scientific affairs at the Acheson Group, will also speak during the 30-minute update.

Plant and production managers, directors of QA/QC, food safety professionals and others who contribute to improvement in food and beverage facilities in the U.S. and Canada are encouraged to attend.

Doctors Acheson and Miller will discuss:

  • What's known about transmission patterns of COVID-19 in food and liquids.
