PULASKI, WI -- Bay Tek Games said it has received Washington State's approval to sell its new Flappy Bird Merchandiser.
Arcade games are examined by the Washington State Gambling Commission, which determines whether they satisfy the state's statutory requirements. Amusement games, in particular, must not have any "auto-percentaging" programming, which would give operators control over the gameplay outcome.
Bay Tek said its Flappy Bird Merchandiser is ideal for the Washington market because it's flexible for any business model. Designed to fit in vestibules, street locations and gamerooms, the machine vends low-dollar prizes with the same, or "single-tiered," value. | SEE STORY
"We are excited for this new opportunity in Washington State," said Mike McWilliams, owner of Specialty Coin, the region's largest equipment distributor. "We've seen the results produced by the Flappy Bird Merchandiser and we are anxious to get these out to our customers."
