BANNING, CA -- The official Walter Day Trading Card Museum will be dedicated on Saturday, Jan. 16, during Arcade Expo 2.0 here.
The museum celebrates the work of Day, who created a collectible trading card series that commemorates popular history. The series focuses on videogame and pinball machine culture, as well as the legacy of science fiction and comic books. The cards are published by Twin Galaxies International Inc.
Day is the founder of Twin Galaxies, a videogame-related company named after an arcade that he once owned in Ottumwa, IA. Twin Galaxies publishes the Official Video Game & Pinball Book of World Records. Day resides in Fairfield, IA.
Arcade Expo 2.0 runs from Jan. 15 to 17.
