Customers buying milk from a vending machine at dairy farm in Flintshire, Wales. were ordered to leave or face fines for violating COVID-19 rules, according to a Daily Post report.

Dairy farmers Einion and Elliw Jones at the Mynydd Mostyn facility in Flintshire, who operate the machines, said customers were observing COVID-19 distancing rules and criticized the police for their actions.

Elliw Jones said police visit the site regularly and are usually supportive. However, Jones said when she called the police to complain, they said the customers should be buying the milk at a supermarket.

A police spokesperson told the news outlet they are working with the county council to make sure customers are COVID compliant.
