VRsenal names Shaffer Distributing and American Vending Sales as distributor partners for VR arcade game

March 4, 2020

VRsenal, a manufacturer of unattended virtual reality arcade games, announced two distribution partners for the U.S. amusement market, Shaffer Distributing and American Vending Sales, according to a press release. Both companies agreed to add VRsenal's Beat Saber arcade game to their lineups of amusement products.

VRsenal makes a self-contained, fully-automated VR arcade game, the only unattended arcade game cabinet for virtual reality that is suitable for family entertainment centers, trampoline parks, karting centers, high-traffic malls and movie theaters.

VRsenal's hardware is paired with Beat Saber, the virtual reality game.

"Unattended virtual reality speaks to many operators as they do not have to staff the attraction," Scott Shaffer, president of Shaffer Distributing, said in the press release. "VRsenal's Beat Saber eliminates the staffing requirement, and the earnings on the game are fantastic. I expect Beat Saber to become a staple for FECs and other entertainment centers."

"Beat Saber from VRsenal has eliminated the need for an attendant, solving the most pressing challenge of VR games," said Tony Shamma, vice president of sales for AVS Companies. "We are impressed with the earnings reports we are seeing, and look forward to getting this into the game rooms of our customers."

Shaffer and AVS join Harry Levy Amusements in the U.K., Zax Amusements for Australia/New Zealand and Amusement Services International in the Middle East as VRsenal distributors.
