Volkswagen Singapore is making a big display with the launch of their ID. Buzz electric vehicle. In a unique out-of-home campaign titled "Great things start with a smile," the brand has taken over the iconic Ten Square car vending machine in Singapore, according to a Marketing Interactive report.
For the first time ever, Ten Square is showcasing 13 ID. Buzz vehicles in its vending machine instead of its usual inventory. They've also taken over the building's digital billboard with visuals of the ID. Buzz.
"The ID.Buzz is more than just a car. It's a symbol of Volkswagen's iconic Type 2 Microbus, reimagined for the electric era. Its timeless smile is a reminder that some things never go out of style," a Volkswagen Singapore spokesperson told the news outlet.
The campaign follows the car maker's recent podcast campaign where they partnered with The Daily Ketchup to showcase the range of their ID.4 electric car.
