VMFS USA, a vending machine manufacturer, has expanded its product line to include models with ad-supported touchscreens and advanced ID verification, according to a press release. The machines are designed for unattended retail environments and are available through the company's online shop.

The units feature digital displays that can be programmed to show video content, promotions or third-party advertisements. Some models also have built-in ID scanning and facial recognition to allow vending operators to sell age-restricted products.

"These new models are a response to what our customers have been asking for — vending systems that serve specialized use cases while also offering more control and flexibility," Jose Perez, director of operations at VMFS USA, said in the release.

The company's latest offerings also include vending machines optimized for specific food products, such as boba tea, ramen and pizza. These machines are intended for high-traffic locations like airports and campuses. These models are MDB-compatible and designed for remote inventory monitoring and cashless payments.
