Trolley House Refreshments, a Richmond, Virginia-based provider of breakroom and vending services, has launched Trolley Eats, a ghost kitchen that operates six restaurant concepts that rely on delivery, according to a richmondbizsense.com report.

Trolley House owners Scott Halloran and Michael Calkins came up with the idea of using the company's commercial kitchen to create a new revenue stream during the pandemic. Trolley House also operates catering company Groovin' Gourmets and Parterre Restaurant.

Trolley House Refreshments continues to operate, but its business is down about 40% from before the pandemic.
