Virginia bakery debuts cupcake vending machine

The Sweetz Bakery in the Battlefield Shopping Center in Leesburg, Virginia has introduced an outdoor cupcake vending machine to serve customers 24/7, according to a report in The Burn.

The machine has 15 varieties, including vegan and gluten-free options, as well as a Red Velvet cupcake, a Vanilla Sprinkles cupcake and a Boston Creme cupcake. Prices range from $4.87 to $5.92.

The machine accepts credit cards and uses a vacuum hose that sucks up the cupcake and then lowers it into the machine's drawer for the customer to grab.
