Virginia arcade featuring rare vintage X-Men game opens this fall

One of 1992's highest grossing arcade games, Konami's X-Men game will soon be available at an Alexandria vintage arcade, according to an ALXnow report.

Alexandria's Allen Brooks and Doug Bauer have founded an arcade called "Continues" that aims to preserve vintage arcade games as an art form.

"Arcade games, pinball machines: they're an art form being lost to time for no other reason than they're physical objects that degrade," Brooks told the news outlet. "If we want to protect them, if we want them to be around for another generation to play, someone has to physically restore them."

In addition to vintage arcade games, Continues will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner menus as well as serve cocktails, local beer and wine.
