MYRTLE BEACH, SC – This year's Atlantic Coast Exposition keynote speaker will be Vietnam War veteran and NFL Super Bowl star Rocky Bleier. The 65th annual convenience services conference and tradeshow will take place at Embassy Suites, Kingston Plantation, in Myrtle Beach, SC, Oct. 10 -12.
 
The theme that will inspire exhibitors' decorations at this year's show is "Mission: ACE -- Honoring Veterans" and organizers report that exhibitor space has nearly sold out with more than five months remaining until show time.
 
Bleier motivates audiences to keep on striving for greater accomplishments by sharing his real-life stories about his fabled comeback from Vietnam injuries to Super Bowl star. "Be the Best You Can Be" is his motivational message detailing how ordinary people can become extraordinary achievers. With the same optimism, sense of humor and steadfast determination that were his trademarks as a Pittsburgh Steelers running back, Bleier takes audiences from his early years through his professional career and talks about the lessons he learned along the way from which we can all benefit.
 
ACE began as the Carolinas Vending Convention more than six decades ago, and expanded steadily into the Carolinas-Virginia Vending Convention and then the Atlantic Coast Exposition. It is sponsored by the North Carolina Vending Association (NCVA), South Carolina Vending Association (SCVA, formerly the South Carolina Automatic Merchandising Association) and Virginia Automatic Merchandising Association (VAMA, formerly the Automatic Vendors Association of Virginia). TayCar, Inc. (Cary, NC) manages the administration of the convention and exhibits as well as the NCVA and VAMA. Capitol Consultants, Inc. of Columbia, SC, provides administrative services for SCVA.
