STOCKHOLM, Sweden -- The Swedish Red Cross has teamed up with Swedavia, the state-owned group that owns and operates Sweden's major airports, in a unique fundraising concept. Called Charity Arcade, the campaign features a small group of classic videogames located near the baggage claims of Stockholm's Arlanda Airport and Göteborg's Landvetter Airport.

The idea is simple; travelers waiting for their bags can pass the time playing the games with all the money going to charity. The classic machines, which include Ms. Pac-Man, Galaga, and Space Invaders, have been reconfigured to accept whatever domestic and foreign coins a traveler inserts.
