Vermont coffee roasters merge

Coffee roaster Illuminar Coffee recently acquired fellow Middlebury, Vermont roaster Bud's Beans for an undisclosed sum, according to a Seven Days report.

Daniel Gutierrez founded Illuminar in 2020 leasing space from Bud's Beans.

Both brands will be operated out of a recently renovated Bud's Beans space at 63 Maple Street, focusing on wholesale and online sales.
