Vengo Labs uses mobile technology to enable contactless product sampling

Vengo Labs, a provider of digital kiosk sampling solutions, has developed a contactless sampling process by incorporating mobile phone technology, according to a press release. When a person walking by a Vengo kiosk sees a video on a Vengo display, she can now use her own mobile phone to interact with the machine and receive a sample.

The consumer enters the Vengo machine number into her phone. Using the phone browser, she selects the item, launching an interactive experience. The kiosk also dispenses the sample.

"Given the current COVID-19 guidelines, we know that now is the time for contactless solutions to meet the needs of today's consumers," Brian Shimmerlik, Vengo's CEO, said in the press release.
