POLAND, OH -- Mark L. Butler, an executive of Vendors Exchange International Inc. and resident of Bazetta Township, OH, died on Nov. 8 at Hospice House here. He was 52.
Butler had been director of strategic initiatives at Cleveland-based Vendors Exchange for the past 10 years, and was a former employee of AVI Foodsystems (Warren), one of the nation's largest family owned and operated food and hospitality providers.
Butler is remembered as a devoted family man and avid Pittsburgh sports fan who loved working on cars, especially with his son. He enjoyed auto racing, golfing and music, often attending Christian concerts with his daughter. "No matter the activity, Mark was always the happiest doing any activity that involved his family," the obituary read.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer L. Anderson Butler; daughter, Hannah E. Butler; son, Nathaniel J. Butler; his mother, Mary G. Butler; two brothers, Michael A. (Kathy) Butler and Christopher J. (Joy) Butler; and two sisters, Patricia A. (Jere) Austin and Hollie F. (Marty) Tucker.
