Vendon intros remote reboot device for vending machines

Vendon — a telemetry and payment solutions provider based in Latvia — has introduced its Remote Reboot Plug device that enables a remote restart of a machine to handle issues that can be solved with a brief power cut and a reboot, according to a press release.
The solution allows operators to minimize unnecessary visits, save on travel costs and have a tighter grip on machine power supply by having a convenient option to restart machines remotely when necessary. The plug can be installed in any machine equipped with a Vendon telemetry device.
Once installed, the functionality is always accessible to fix vending machines without an on-site visit.
The product is fully compatible with the vBox2 and is integrated with the Vendon Cloud.
